I am a practicing anesthesiologist, although in the past I have worked as an internist as well as a pain physician. I have listened to lectures regarding buprenorphine and the waiver in the past and it seemed like a good way to be useful. During my recent furlough, the course was offered online and I took it. But now I am back full time 7-3 giving anesthesia in a hospital. I need advice as to whether there is a practical way for me to use my waiver.

Welcome to the PCSS Discussion Forum Dr. Garfunkel.  I agree that it sounds like your current situation is not necessarily practical for using your waiver.  If you were interested in being matched up with our of our mentors to discuss your situation you can reach out to pcssmentoring@aaap.org to request our application.
